First Impressions Sunday Scripture Reflections (English)
Reflections by
Fr. Jude Siciliano, O.P.

I call these notes, First Impressions. They are my thoughts early in the week as I reflect on the following Sunday's scripture readings. January 28, 2007. They suggest possible paths the preacher might follow in developing a homily. Sometimes I do an extended reflection; sometimes allude to scriptural interpretations; sometimes focus on one or two images in the readings. It varies, after all it's still early in the week! You may find these thoughts useful in your own preaching or in your personal reflections as you prepare for Sunday's liturgical celebration.
