Announcing the New Director of Vocations

The Dominican Province of St. Martin de Porres has appointed a new vocation director (effective July 2018): Fr. Francis Jose Orozco, O.P.

A native of Oklahoma, Fr. Francis entered the novitiate of the Dominican Province of St. Martin de Porres in 2009 after working in the insurance industry for three years. Fr. Francis attended Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, MI, where he studied Philosophy and Spanish and minored in Latin. He made his simple profession in 2010 and was assigned to St. Dominic Priory and Studium in St. Louis where he earned his Master of Arts in Theology in 2015 from Aquinas Institute. Fr. Francis made solemn profession in 2013 and was ordained a priest in June 2015. For the last three years he has served as the Parochial Vicar of St. Elizabeth University Parish in Lubbock, TX, and as Chaplain to Raider Catholic, the Catholic Student Center at Texas Tech University.
