Prayer to Humbly Trust in God's Providence

Dear Lord Jesus Christ, you said to your disciples: "If you ask anything in my Name, I will do it, so that my Father may be glorified in me." (John 14:13) Lord, as your disciples, as mendicant friars of the Order of Preachers, who have taken a vow of poverty, we ask you in your Holy Name for the grace to humbly trust that you will providentially inspire people to help us provide for the education and formation of our student brothers and novices by donating to the Aquinas Trust.

Yes, Lord, in your Providence move them that they may use the blessings they have received from you prudently and charitably to help us prepare our young friars for profession and ordination to the priesthood in the Order of Preachers. May they recall and imitate the poor widow in the Gospel who conformed herself to your sacrificial love, under your inspiration, by offering all she had from her material poverty as a sacrifice of love to help your people.

We humbly ask this prayer in your Holy Name, Lord, trusting that you will faithfully answer us by inspiring people to help us financially in the sacred ministry of educating and forming our young friars to become preachers of Truth for the salvation of all people, especially the lost.
